ALPHARETTA HIGH SCHOOL BAND

Alpharetta Band Boosters Association

Meet the Board

What is ABBA?  A Swedish band from the 70's? No, it's your very own Alpharetta Band Boosters Association!  The High School Band Boosters is the organization that supports ALL our band students. It allows the band directors to focus on developing the talent of our students by coordinating activities for the band and by providing additional resources where necessary. We work closely with the band directors, who are also members of the Band Boosters Board, to assist them in whatever way possible.

In this day of cut backs and fund decreases, it is essential that we supplement the limited funds that are allocated to the band budget in order to enhance the educational experience of our students.  The best thing you can do is to volunteer.  There is a volunteer opportunity to suit everyone's time schedule and interest. It takes an army of volunteers to make things run smoothly for the band and although they won’t admit it, your kids actually like having their parents involved in some band activities!  Contact us by clicking here for more information.

Emily Stone
I am a wife, mother, physical Therapist and honored to serve on the 2021-2022 AHS Band Booster Board. My husband John and I have 3 kids. Our oldest daughter Ava is 16 and is a sophomore and plays the flute in both Marching and Concert Bands. We also have 9 year old twins, Ella and Jackson. I am an Area Regional Director with EmpowerMe Wellness and manage 7 assisted living senior communities and rehab programs. Outside of marching band and football games, we are very busy with soccer games, music lessons, horseback riding lessons and shows. We love to camp, kayak, and basically get outdoors as a family as much as we can to recharge and unwind. I am excited to serve this year and be a part of our awesome band program here at AHS. Go Raiders!
