WHAT EXACTLY IS ABBA?   Alpharetta Band Booster Association, our official corporate name. 

 

Band Booster Executive Board - These volunteer parents are your "point-of-contacts" for everything Band related - Marching, Concert, Colorguard, Percussion.  We have a very active Band Booster Organization who are a certified 501c3 non-profit organization.  We not only desire your help, we count on parents just like to to help create the great musical experience we have come to expect and enjoy at Alpharetta High School.  Please contact one of the parents on this list to see how you can be involved.  You'll be glad you did!

 

NEW PARENT PORTAL - Have you ever thought it would be great to have a directory of all the band family members, to have the option of paying band fees via a website, or to have one central location to see newsletters and upcoming events relating to band parents?

We have launched a new ABBA website to help us reach and serve our parents more efficiently.  Please go to our membershiptoolkit site - and bookmark the website.  This is a work in progress for our Parent Association, and our first step is getting all parents registered.  Registration will only take a few minutes - and you will become the keeper of your information. By doing this, our rosters can be up-to-date accurate, allowing us to communicate more effectively.  In addition, we are working on moving our newsletters and the process of spring registration to this portal.

So please take a few minutes to look around on the site.  We will be updating it regularly so when you check the band website, click over to check the booster site.  There is also a MembershipToolkit app that will give you access to the directory on the go.

SUMMER CAMP            "WHAT TO BRING"              JULY 2017 Marching Band CAMP SCHEDULE 

 

AHS BAND HANDBOOK - This is how we operate.  Though our Program is flexible and always open to positive change, this is our roots.  Directors have the right to apply according to individual needs of each student.  The handbook also includes the Band grading policy and Wind Ensemble contract, both of which requires parent signature.  Please locate, read, print and sign, and return to the bandroom during the first week of the school year.
